Rules and Regulations
Parents and students must read and familiarize themselves with rules and procedures of the school and extend whole hearted co-operation.
  • Every pupil must possess a school diary which must be brought to the school daily.
  • Student must be in the school at least 5 minutes before the first bell. The late comers should not enter the class without the permission of the Principal.
  • The washed and ironed school uniform must be worn on school days and at all school functions. Finger nails to be kept trimmed and unpainted.
  • Students should speak only English in the school campus except in other language classes. Defaulters are liable to be fined.
  • Pupils are expected to keep the class room and school premises clean and tidy. They are responsible for the safety of their personal belonging such as books and writing materials etc., they should not wear jewelry. They are not allowed to bring comics or any objectionable literature to school.
  • On meeting teachers / authorities / friends for the first time in the school on a day students shall greet them saying “Good Morning sir / madam / friend or Good afternoon” on the basis of the time.
  • When a teacher / distinguished visitor enters the class room, students should stand up greet the person saying Good morning, Good afternoon with folded hands and remain standing till the teacher or the visitor takes his / her seat.
  • Students are not allowed to meet the parents or visitor or leave the premises during the school hours without the permission of the principal.
  • Students are strictly forbidden from writing or scribbling on the walls or furniture, or disfigure the class room or damage any school property.
  • Every student must take part in school games and other activities unless declared physically unfit or exempted by the Principal.
  • Movement from class to class between periods should be done in an orderly single file and in silence.
  • Students up to class IV should use only pencil and not pen.
  • Parent’s / Guardian’s escort are not allowed to walk into any class room. They may leave their wards at the school gate or at the entrance from where ayah will escort them into their respective classes.
  • Parent’s who wish to seek information’s should do so by meeting the principal and not the class teachers.
  • It is essential that all parents attend the open house whenever held. Failure to do so without sufficient reason will be treated as a lapse on the part of parents in discharging their obligation.
  • Students shall never bring mobile phones or any other electronic gadgets to the campus. Cell phones of defaulters will be confiscated.
  • Plastic carry bags are prohibited in the campus.
Leave of Absence
  • Leave of absence is not granted except on written on application format, provided in the school diary from parent or guardian. Absence of more than three days should be accompanied by a medical certificate and a separate leave letter.
  • Absentees shell produce the school diary with the relevant columns of the record filled in and signed by the parent / guardian.
  • A student absenting continuously without information for more than 15 working days will be removed from the rolls. Readmission entail a penalty of Rs. 100 /-
  • No arrangement will be made for special test / examination for absentees before and after the time fixed for test and examinations.
  • No student suffering from contagious infectious diseases will be allowed to attend the school.
Fees Payment
I Term - April 1st to April 30th
II Term - October 1st to October 15th
III Term - January 2nd to January 15th
Rules for Availing School Bus Facility
  • Students availing bus facilities are expected to wait on the left side of the road at the bus stop at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled arrival of the bus.
  • The bus will not wait for late comers.
  • Students should not come near the entry door of the bus until the bus has come to a complete stop.
  • Students should occupy the seats already allotted.
  • When the bus is in motion students should not peep through the windows.
  • Whistling shouting or any other unruly behavior will not be tolerated in the bus
  • Teachers availing school bus facility have to ensure discipline in the bus Violation of rules should be reported to the principal
  • Only those students who have paid the bus fees in advance are eligible to avail of the bus facility.
Rules of Discipline
Every student must obey the following rules of discipline.
  • All must come to school on time. Latecomers will have to get written permission from the Principal.
  • Students must come to school in clean, neat and proper dress.
  • Uniform is compulsory and should be strictly in accordance with the pattern prescribed by the school.
  • All are expected to speak English in the school premises and in the school vehicles.
  • No CD, DVD, USB memory, I pad and books other than text books and note books should be brought to school.
  • Students are not permitted to entertain teachers with gifts.
  • Students shall not bring any other eatables except meant for intervals.
  • Students who fail twice in the same class will have to leave the school.
  • Pupils who absent themselves from an examination for any reason will not be re-examined.
  • Every student is responsible for the safe custody of his / her belongings. The school will not be responsible for the loss of any belongings. Ornaments and jewelry of any kind are not allowed in the school. Pupils are advised not to bring big amounts of money to school.
  • Students are not allowed to bring / use mobile phone in school campus on any reason. A fine of Rs. 25/- will be charged if found violating. For all other types of violation of rules, cash penalties will be decided as and when required.
  • At the warning bell, students should proceed to where it summons them. At the second bell, they should keep silence. Perfect silence and order should be maintained by the pupils while going out for the assembly and returning to class.
  • The classroom, the school buildings and premises should be kept clean and tidy. Any damage caused to properties of the school and other will have to be made good. Damage caused even by accident should be reported to the school authorities.
  • It is expected that the pupils will imbibe the message of AUROBINDO VIDHYALAYA and that each child will try his / her best to become an exemplary student.
Instructions to the Students
  • Monthly haircut and daily clean shave has to be done by boys.
  • Nails should be trimmed weekly; boys / girls are not allowed to grow their nails.
  • Daily bath is compulsory for all students.
  • Shirt buttons should not be kept open and the shirt to be tucked in property. Belts should be worm tightly and visibly.
  • Personal hygiene should be maintained.
  • Dyeing of hair or using hair gel is not permitted.
  • Hairstyle should be according to the norms of the school.
  • Designs, lines, arts, writings, patching, paintings or picture on pants or shorts are not allowed.
  • Girls Students should tie their hair in a single plait / pony tail with black band.
  • No loose hair is allowed in the school campus.
  • Students are not allowed to wear gold ornaments or any other type in the school and are not allowed to bring any electronic items to the school.
  • Students are not allowed to bring and use mobile phone in the campus.
  • Wearing uniforms during school hours is compulsory.
  • No low waist pants should be permitted in campus
  • Alteration in stitching unforms will be allowed.
  • Using colored contact lens is strictly prohibited.
  • Bringing / using of chewing gums pan paragon, tobacco items, drugs, soft drinks & eatables etc. to the school is strictly prohibited.
  • Tattooing is strictly prohibited.
